Leads

There are many different kinds of leads to use, in all kinds of varying quality and price ranges.  The vast majority, unfortunately, are not worth much as they are sold and resold so many times the recipient has been bombarded with offers and junk mail, and is likely to delete your message before even reading them.  However, there are some companies which do sell responsive leads at reasonable prices. 

Basically, there are two main categories of leads you should know about:

1) Bulk Autoresponder Leads - Although bulk leads are generally older and much less expensive, these are your best choice for your money in most cases unless you can buy very fresh or real time telephone verified leads and have the time and diligence to call them promptly.  Bulk leads may range in price from a few cents apiece, occasionally 1 cent or less and are purchased several thousand at a time.  They may range from a few days to up to 120 days old. Different companies have different means of generating these leads, and have different rules about how many additional times they will sell the leads you buy to someone else. Most good bulk leads come with name, email, sometimes phone #, and/or mailing address, date stamp, and IP address.

2) High Quality Leads - these are usually sold in smaller quantities, are much fresher, and may cost up to several dollars per lead.  They can be for telephone use, autoresponder or both.  Here are some examples of types of high quality leads.

-        Phone verified - simply means someone has called and verified that is a working phone number.

-        Phone surveyed - means a live person has called and talked to these leads and had them respond to a set of survey questions

-        Real time leads - means they are responding to an offer at that moment and you will usually receive the email in your inbox with the lead's contact information right then - these are the freshest you can buy, usually also the most expensive, but they can be very responsive

-        Targeted leads - usually means the lead has requested somewhat more specific information - i.e., they may be interested primarily in health and nutrition opportunities.  Or, they can sometimes be targeted for your specific opportunity

-        Co registered leads - usually means a person has responded to some online offer which automatically subscribed them to receive several other kinds of offers, and there was some reasonably obvious notice that this would happen if they did not deliberately UN check the boxes for categories of information they did not want to receive emails about.  Most of these get too many offers to be very responsive, but some of them are pretty good, especially if the co registration specifically lists your opportunity so they know what they are subscribing to.

-        Surveyed leads - come in various types, but most often the person responds to a specific set of questions about why they are interested in a home business, when they are ready to start, how much they would be willing to invest, etc.  These can range from fresh, very expensive leads, to older ones that are similar to bulk, but these are often very responsive if you get a good source.

These are low cost responsive leads with a free to join affiliate plan. They have paid me many times and I've gained many active members from here as well. In addition to Autoresponders, Digital Adgear offers a variety of leads and other marketing resources.  I have had very good results with their low cost bulk leads, including those that come with the monthly autoresponder subscription, and have gained a number of members from these.  Digital Adgear's 9 question Surveyed leads are just a slightly older version of a quality of lead usually much more expensive.  Generally around 30 days old, these are available for as low as $60 for 2000 leads, an excellent value.  They include detailed survey information about why the person is interested in a home business, when they are ready to start, how much they will invest, and more.  I have gained many, many active members from these, and used with the Digital Adgear autoresponder, these are currently my very best lead source.  The affiliate program also has been paying me every month for three years.
